Al Shiddi Group is the new golden sponsor of the champion of BiH

On Wednesday, 8 July 2015, a press conference was held at the Hotel Bristol in Sarajevo where a sponsorship agreement was signed and cooperation between the current champion of BiH, Sarajevo FC, and Al Shiddi Group was made official.
With the agreed business cooperation, Sarajevo FC received additional and significant support in achieving the Club’s goals regarding marketing and financial plans.
“We strive to have quality sponsors of our Club, which will in a certain way invest in Bosnia and Herzegovina. At this moment, I must express my satisfaction because Al Shiddi Group, which is certainly a great investor in our country, recognized the collective of Sarajevo FC as a collective which is suitable for cooperation, which I believe will be excellent for both sides. Sarajevo FC, no doubt, is open for cooperation with all local and foreign companies”, said Edis Kusturica, the President of the Board of Directors of Sarajevo FC.
Alongside Mr. Kusturica, General Manager, Mr. Dino Selimović also expressed his satisfaction on behalf of Sarajevo FC regarding the formalization of cooperation with Al Shiddi Group at today’s press conference.
“Today, I am especially proud because the Maroon family has gained another member, Al Shiddi Group, which successfully realized several investment projects in our country during the past couple of years. I believe, with the help from above, that this is the beginning of a successful and long-term cooperation of the best with the best. I would like to thank the owners of the Group for their trust in the champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, said Selimović
On behalf of Al Shiddi Group, well known to the public of Bosnia and Herzegovina for successful investments in the capital, Sarajevo, such as Hotel Bristol, “Sarajevo City Centar” and “Poljine Hills”, Mr. Samir Sinanović, General Manager of Shad Invest d.o.o. Sarajevo, also expressed his satisfaction regarding the cooperation with Sarajevo FC.

Al Shiddi Group is one of the most important groups in the business world of Saudi Arabia. It was founded in Riyadh in 1975, and deals mainly with real estate and construction of facilities of various applications in Bosnia.
At today’s press conference, Sarajevo FC presented the new reinforcement of the champion of BiH, Harmony Ikande. This twenty-four-year-old midfielder is the new name in the Sarajevo FC locker-room, and the Sports Director, Abdulah Ibraković, wished the Nigerian player the best of luck in Sarajevo.
“I wish our new player the best of luck and great success in the jersey of Sarajevo FC. I believe that he will fit in our Club very soon and show his quality on the pitch”, said Ibraković.
“I am very happy for signing the contract with Sarajevo FC. I have been in the Club for several days now and my first impressions are great. I hope that I will justify the expectations in my new club”, said Ikande.
Harmony Ikande was born on 17 August 1990 in the city of Kano, Nigeria. In his career, he played for Milan, Monza, Poggibonsi, Extramadur, Honved, Beitar Jerusalem and Hapoel Tel Aviv. He played one match for the “A” selection of Nigeria.
