Match Preview: FK Sarajevo - FK Novi Pazar

The break due to the national team matches within the BH Telecom Prime League of Bosnia and Herzegovina was used by FK Sarajevo players for short preparations in our Club’s training base in Herzegovina, Hotel Brotnjo Čitluk. On Sunday, 10 October, a friendly match will take place against a member of the Serbian Super League, FK Novi Pazar. The match between Sarajevo and Novi Pazar will take place at the Velež Stadium in Vrapčići at 3 p.m.

Our Club’s opponent, FK Novi Pazar, after having played twelve rounds of a local competition, is currently seventh in the league ranking list, with 18 points, five victories, three draws and four lost matches. The interesting thing is that two Novi Pazar players have been lent by FK Sarajevo; these are left back Radoš Protić and midfielder Miroljub Kostić. These two players are indispensable in Novi Pazar’s first team and have played in almost all matches so far. It is worth noting that two former FK Sarajevo players, Amer Osmanagić and Irfan Vusljanin, are also currently wearing Novi Pazar jersey.

EXPECTATIONS: Prior to the match, Football Club Sarajevo Chief of the Coaching Staff Miodrag Ješić said all players would get their chance to play. “In Čitluk, we have all conditions for good preparations. Hotel staff is exceptionally kind and everybody is trying to provide everything we need. It is important that we have our peace. We needed it. Guys are getting used to our system of work and we want to use this time well. Regarding the match against Novi Pazar, we have worked hard in the past few days and all players will get their chance to play, i.e. two teams will play 45 minutes each”, said Ješić.

WEATHER: According to weather forecasts for tomorrow, the Mostar weather will be cloudy and rainy. The players will play at the maximum temperature of 17 degrees.

TICKETS: The central grandstand “North” of the Vrapčići Stadium will be open for spectators, as well as its gates “A” and “B”. Tickets costing BAM 5 are sold at the Stadium selling point. The gates will be open from 2 p.m, an hour before referee’s first whistle blow. Owners of season tickets for 2015/16 and our club’s active white membership cards will enter the aforementioned grandstand free of charge. For more information, click on the following LINK.
