On Friday, 29 January 2016, footballers of FK Sarajevo will play their first friendly match within this year’s winter preparations. Players selected by Miodrag Ješić will play the match at the “Bare” stadium in Čitluk starting at 01:00 p.m. against the leader of the 1st League of the Federation of B&H, i.e. the team of Metalleghe BSI from Jajce. It is worth to mention that every player is a candidate for the starting line-up, except for the young player Vedad Gljiva who will miss the match due to a flu case.
Our Club’s first opponent had a successful autumn part of the season, they won 29 points in 15 matches and managed to keep the first place during the winter break. This is a firm indicator and confirmation of the Premier League ambitions of the club from Jajce. The players led by Nermin Bašić are a combination of youth and experience and the club’s line-up consists of many players with experience in the Premier League, which implies that our players will have a serious test ahead of them at the start of the preparation.
We can also mention that the coach of goalkeepers from Jajce is a former goalkeeper of FK Sarajevo, Alen Krak. We remember him as the goalkeeper at the famous European match of our Club in Istanbul where we played a draw match with Besiktas which ended with a result 2:2.
The match between Sarajevo and Metalleghe starts at 01:00 p.m. and all our fans and supporters will have a possibility to follow the match in a live broadcast thanks to our media sponsor Sportsport.ba
