Bekić’s double gives Sarajevo home win over Travnik

Football players of FK Sarajevo hosted today NK Travnik on Koševo in 1/4 of Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup. The match on stadium Koševo was finished with victory for Sarajevo with the result 2:0 and goal scorer of both goals was Amer Bekić.

The first half of the match our players opened great. It was the third minute of the match when Sarajevo scored. Duljević found Amer Bekić who with the precise shot scores a goal for lead. On the other side, ten minutes later, Travnik had a double shot but the goalkeeper Adi Adilović was on the right place. In two other chances Crnkić was blocked, but our players scored the second goal in 32nd minute of the match. Duljević gives a good one to Kadušić, who sends a ball to Amer Bekić who scores the second goal on the match.

In the second half of the match the field was in bad condition, so it was harder for players to play. Travnik threatened through Hasanhodžić and on the other side, Amer Bekić had two chances for Sarajevo, but they didn’t contribute for changing the result. Ahmetović, who changed Amer Bekić at the end of the second half had a good chance, but his header was stopped by the hand of Travnik’s player. The referees whistle was not heard.

Until the end of the match the result remains the same so our players won another match. Returning match between Sarajevo and Travnik will be played on Wednesday, March 15 on stadium “Pirota” in Travnik and before that match, Maroon Club will play on Saturday against Široki Brijeg on stadium Koševo at 15h.
