Footballers of Sarajevo parted from Koševo audience with a convincing victory against Travnik

Footballers of the current champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina parted from the audience at Koševo in the year 2015 with a victory against Travnik within the BH Telecom Premier League Matchday 17. The final result of the match at the “Asim Ferhatović-Hase” Olympic Stadium was 4:0 in favour of the Maroon Club and the scorers were Leon Benko, Haris Duljević, Adnan Kovačević and Adnan Osmanović.
Our first team players opened the match better. In the 3rd minute, Almir Bekić made a centre shot to Velkoski who made a shot but the goalkeeper of the guest team defended it. Not long after that Duljević entered the penalty area of Travnik, made an attempt, but Nurković defended. In the continuation of the attack the ball went to Benko who tried to score a goal with the heel but unsuccessfully. Their first chance of the match players of Travnik had in the 20th minute when Aleksić made a bad shot after Dudić passed the ball to him and out goalkeeper, Emir Plakalo, didn’t have any problems to catch the ball.
Our players took a well-deserved lead in the 24th minute of the match. Rustemović made a centre shot from the corner and Velkoski received the ball and passed it to Benko who easily sent the ball from few meters of distance behind the back of Nurković. Already in the next attack, the result at the display of the Koševo stadium was 2:0. Duljević entered the penalty area passed Nurković and scored a nice goal almost from the corner line. Five minutes after, Berberović also tried his shot but without changes in the result. In the 35th minute, Amer Bekić made a headshot and few minutes after Duljević did the same from the distance but the break began with the result 2:0 for FK Sarajevo.
In the second half, our players had the first chance. After Velkoski passed the ball to him, Duljević made a shot diagonally from the left and the ball went beside the goal post of Travnik. Already in the next attack, Almir Bekić passed the ball to Berberović who made a strong shot but the guest team defense line managed to block his shot. In the 50th minute Duljević, who was in a good mood today, had another chance after Okić passed the ball to him, and made a shot only few centimeters away from the Travnik’s left goalpost.
The spectators saw a new goal in the net of Travnik in the 52nd minute. Rustemović made a good centre shot from the right side; Kovačević jumped in the penalty area and put the ball into the goal of Nurković with his head. In the 75th minute, Berberović tried his shot but there were no changes in the result. Sarajevo could have scored another goal in the 78th minute. Kallasi made a good shot from distance and Travnik’s goalkeeper defended his shot using his utmost efforts. Amer Bekić then took the ball and made a headshot but the ball ended hitting the the goal bar and then Osmanović attempted but Aleksić kicked out the ball from the goal line.
In the 86th minute, our footballers scored a new goal. Duljević brilliantly passed on the left side and passed the ball to young Adnan Osmanović who scored the undefended part of the net by a precise shot for the final 4:0. Let’s also mention that the captain of our Club Haris Duljević had a great opportunity in the last minute of the match, after a nice move he hit the goalpost of the guest team’s goal, which, for the third time today, was an ally of Travnik.
In the next Matchday, the last one of this season, FK Sarajevo will play against Široki Brijeg as a guest team.
