Sarajevo closer to victory in a goalless draw against Željezničar

Football players of Sarajevo played draw against Željezničar on guests’ field. 110th city derby finished without victory for anyone on stadium “Grbavica” and today’s match our players opened better. Duljević passes a good one in 3rd minute, Ahmetović shoots but the Željezničar’s goalkeeper defends the kick.
In the next minutes Željezničar through Lendrić had some good chances but without danger for the goal of Pavlović. In the middle of the first half, Duljević had a nice shot but Kjosevski tips the ball under the crossbar. Ten minutes later, the captain of the Maroon Club shoots from a distance but the ball was kicked out by the goalkeeper and after that Hebibović from a very good position shoots but over the goal. Till the end of the first half Duljević asked for penalty after the duel with Miroslav Stevanović in the penalty area of Željezničar but the referee Admir Šehović didn’t point the white spot.
In continuation Sarajevo played braver and our players had some good attacks. Still, the first serious chance in the second half of the match had Željezničar when after a good shot from Stevanović, Pavlović defends. Kerla tried his luck but shoots over the goal and few minutes later, because of the second yellow card Kerla had to leave the field. In the finish of the match Sarajevo played a bit more offensive to the Željezničar’s goal. Maroon Club had two chances through Hebibović but there was no change in the result. Sarić had a free kick towards Željezničar’s goal but the nets on today’s match remain untouched.
In the next round Sarajevo will be hosting Krupa and before that on Wednesday Maroon Club will be guest to the team of Mladost in returning match of ½ Finals of Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
