In returning match of final of Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina our players played one of the best games in this part of season so the regular part of the match finished with victory against Široki Brijeg on guest field with the result of 1:0 but in the penalty shootout the hosts had more luck.
From the beginning of the match Sarajevo played aggressively. Maroon Club had a big chance in 17th minute. Hebibović passes through right side, gave it to Crnkić who from seven meters sends the ball beside the goal. Worth to note that Sarajevo was damaged prior to this situation, because the main referee didn’t point out to white spot after Crnkić was stopped improperly by Pandža in his penalty area.
Ten minutes later, Amer Bekić sends the ball into the net but the referee signalized that Mihojević was in improper position and before the break, Hebibović shoots but Bilobrk send the ball into the corner. At the opening of the second half, Ivetić had a good header and Sarajevo leads in 65th minute. Bralić crashed Mihojević in penalty area and the main referee Jakupović this time points to the white spot. Amer Bekić was the shooter and scores for lead of our team.
Till the end of the match our player had field initiative but without any danger for the goal of Široki Brijeg so the winner of Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina was known after penalty shootout. Scorers for Sarajevo were Almir Bekić and Ahmetović but Husejinović and Rustemović miss their chances. On the other side the happiness for hosts brought scorers Ivanković, Barišić, Ćorić and Čabaja.
In both matches of finals of Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sarajevo was a better opponent especially in the returning match on guest filed where team lead by Mehmed Janjoš played an excellent game, but the luck factor was missing on the white spot for our players.
Till the end of the season Sarajevo has two more matches. In Saturday at 17h on Koševo stadium Maroon Club is hosting Željezničar and in the last round of the season Sarajevo will be guest in Krupa.
