SFK 2000


SFK 2000 Sarajevo  is the most successful women's football club in Bosnia and Herzegovina, awarded with numerous awards. In its history, SFK 2000 Sarajevo has been pronounced as the best women's club in Canton Sarajevo 5 times in a row, while being selected in the last round for the best collective of our country within the Contest for Best sports players of Bosnia and Herzegovina (2014 and 2015). SFK 2000 Sarajevo is also the most successful women's football club in the region, with 14 continuous titles of Champions of BiH, 13 trophies as Cup of BiH winners, so the players from SFK 2000 Sarajevo have taken part in the UEFA Champions League for women. The best rank achieved in the mentioned competition is getting into the round of 32 in 2009 and 2012.

SFK 2000 has been created in June 2000, first as "Alija Miladin" section, afterwards entering the men's football club "SFK 2000". Meanwhile, the men's club shut down leaving only the  women's club functioning. This club has been created in order to give possibility to girls from Sarajevo and other parts of BiH to train and play football, which is our primary vision and mission.

In UEFA ranking of clubs, SFK 2000 was best ranked with the 17th place, but except of working with senior team, SFK 2000 Sarajevo pays a lot of attention to youth categories, where girls from 5-16 years old are training.

SFK 2000 is the only womens football club in Canton Sarajevo competing in the Premier League of BiH, achieving great results in a very short time:

- 14 times in row the Champions of BiH

- 13 times winner of BiH Cup

- 13 times competitor in UEFA Champions League for women (only club from BiH taking part in this competition)

- Round of 32 in UEFA Champions League (2009 and 2012)

- Winner of all international futsal tournaments in the Region

- Only football club in BiH having divided work with senior and junior team

- Football school for girls from 5 - 16 years old

- 5 times pronounced as the best women's collective in Canton Sarajevo

- Nominated in finals as one of the 3 best teams for best sports collective of BiH (2014/2015) (Nezavisne novine under the patronage of Presidency of BiH)

Next to the successful club results, the collective of SFK 2000 Sarajevo is proud of the fact that the players and staff are being the frame of representations in the Region.

  •  BiH U-17: Dženita Močević, Anja Limanović, Mejrema Medić, Mia Kuljanin.

Thanks to the lately signed memorandum and the begining of collaboration with Football club Sarajevo, current champions of Bosnia and Herzegovina in football, SFK 2000 Sarajevo has decided to take a step further in the organisation of the club, while the stability gotten with the collaboration with FC Sarajevo can directly be seen in obvious domination in the autumnal part of Premier League Bosnia and Herzegovina for women,  a competition in which  SFK  2000 Sarajevo is definitely holding the leading position with 10 points of advantage compared with the second-placed team with the goal difference of 74:1, after eleven played rounds.
