The "Maroon Army for BiH" action accomplished

On Sunday, 25 May 2014, in cooperation with the Sarajevo FC Supporters’ Association- UNFKS, group of supporters “Horde Zla - (Hordes of Evil)  and the “Maroon Friends 1946 Association”- UBP1946, the Sarajevo Football Club organized a voluntary action “MAROON ARMY FOR BIH” for cleaning the cities of Bosnia and Herzegovina affected by the catastrophic floods in the middle of May 2014.

"In cooperation with our business partners, friends and sponsors, the Club provided work clothing, protection masks and gloves for all volunteers as well as sandwiches and water. I would like to thank to all those who joined us and spent their Sunday helping others" – are the words of the Sarajevo FC General Director Dino Selimović. 

A part of the maroon expedition went to Janja, where they delivered the aid packages, while the other part visited the settlements nearby Doboj and also delivered the aid packages – food, disinfectants, etc.

 - "About a hundred maroon volunteers spent a day in Maglaj helping to clean the primary and secondary school as well as few housing units. We are using this opportunity to call all people of good will to continue with providing help in the flooded areas because the situation on the field is very difficult." - said Mirza Hadžić, the Sarajevo Football Club General Secretary and coordinator of the voluntary action.

He remind that, previously, the maroon convoys of aid have been sent to Olovo, Zavidovići and Maglaj. Hereby, the Sarajevo FC wishes to thank to all individuals who participated in the humanitarian actions during the past ten days, as well as to the friends of the Club: Horde Zla - (Hordes of Evil), UNFKS, "Maroon Friends 1946 Association”, Centrotrans-Eurolines, Likval, Bordo Fan Shop,, Move One, Thermal Riviera Ilidža, Klas, Sarajevska Pivara, Prevent, ComTrade, Oaza Zdravlja Pharmacies,, Tobacco Press, R&S, Penny Plus...
