Dženan Uščuplić appointed as a coaching staff member of the BiH U-21 national team

 

On 27 December 2014, a session of the NS / FS BiH Executive Board was held in the training center in Zenica, where several coaching staff members of national teams were appointed.

Dženan Uščuplić, the coach of the U-19 team of the Sarajevo Football Club Academy was appointed as a coaching staff member of BiH U-21 national team. He will in the future assist the newly elected manager, Darko Nestorović.

Dženan Uščuplić began his coaching career in 2001, after the completion of his professional football career. From 2001 to 2010, he trained the generation of 1991 and won the title of league champion and the Cup winner in the junior competition, and has launched many players to the first team as well, such as the current captain of Sarajevo Football Club, Amer Dupovac.

In the period from 2010 to 2011, he was transferred to the first team as an assistant coach in the coaching staff, led by Jirži Plišek. Also, from 2010, he was a member of the coaching staff of the U-19 national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and after his engagements in the first team in 2011, he took over the U-19 selection of the Youth team of Sarajevo, with whom he won the title of champions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the early 2014, Dženan Uščuplić became an assistant coach within the Sarajevo’s first team coaching staff, led by the Croatian expert Robert Jarni, and in mid-spring part of the 2013/14 season, for the first time Uščuplić got a chance to perform the duty of a coach of the Sarajevo’s first team. During his semi-annual engagement, the Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 2013/14 season was won and our Club qualified for the Europa League Play OFF qualification round in the current season.

Currently, Dženan Uščuplić leads the U-19 team of the Sarajevo Football Club Academy and few weeks ago has successfully completed a program of the Center for the Education of Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and acquired an "A" license.
